Hollerbach’s German Restaurant to collab with Sanford music venue
SANFORD, Fla. – Hollerbach’s German Restaurant, the transformational force in Sanford, is set to open a new concept inside a nearby music venue.
Burgerbach’s, a fast casual eatery, will open inside Tuffy’s Music Box and Lounge, according to a news release.
The music venue is at 200 Myrtle Avenue, about a five-minute walk from Hollerbach’s.
“We are incredibly excited about this new chapter,” Hollerbach’s CEO Christina Hollerbach said in a prepared statement. “Tuffy’s has always been a fantastic venue for live music and entertainment, and we are eager to complement that with our culinary offerings.”

Now, do not expect to see sauerkraut and schnitzel at Tuffy’s.
Rather, Hollerbach’s Executive Chef Patrick Story has created an American menu, featuring Oklahoma-style smash burgers, chicken sandwiches and frozen treats, per the release.
Meanwhile, the Hollerbach’s team will also create a menu for the tiki bar inside the music venue, called the Suffering Bastard. Specific menu items that will be served have not yet been released, but the news release said the food will be inspired by Hawaii.
The opening date for Burgerbach’s has not been released, but Dan St. Pierre, owner of Tuffy’s, said he is excited about this collaboration as well.
“Their reputation for quality and community engagement aligns perfectly with our vision for Tuffy’s. Together, we aim to create an unforgettable experience for our guests,” St. Pierre said in a prepared statement.
