THIS ONE HAPPENED YESTERDAY IN BARLING. ARKANSAS STATE POLICE SAY 48-YEAR- OLD HEATHER WHITE WAS KILLED AFTER THE PICKUP CRASHED INTO THE BLUE AGAVE MEXICAN GRILL RESTAURANT. Man takes plea deal in case involving deadly crash into Arkansas restaurant

The man accused of killing a woman when he crashed a pickup truck through the wall of a Barling restaurant pleaded guilty to negligent homicide while intoxicated and other charges.Larry Thomas Stevens was sentenced to 27 years in prison. He could face an additional 13 years if he violates the terms of his sentencing.Heather White, 48, was killed after the pickup Stevens drove crashed into the Blue Agave Mexican Grill restaurant in Nov. 2023.Stevens pleaded guilty to four counts of 2nd degree battery in addition to the negligent homicide charge. Four people in the restaurant were injured in the crash.
